PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a rotary electric machine capable of preventing or suppressing a coil conductor from interfering with an insulator while winding a coil conductor around the insulator and capable of improving insulation quality between a stator core and the coil conductor.SOLUTION: The stator for a rotary electric machine includes: a tooth 12; a stator core 10 with a slot 14 between the adjacent teeth 12; an insulator 16 disposed along a wall surface 15 of the slot 14; and a coil conductor wound around the tooth 12 through the insulator 16. The insulator 16 includes a body section 17 and a flange section 19 in which only a part of an end face 19b abuts on an inner wall surface 13 of the slot 14. |
