PURPOSE: A use of a Brassica rapa-derived Mdhar(monodehydroascorbate reductase) gene is provided to enhance the yield of transgenic rice plants, and to improve environmental stress resistance. CONSTITUTION: A Brassica rapa-derived Mdhar gene is used as a regulator of yield and environmental stress. A plant cell is transformed with a recombinant vector containing the Brassica rapa-derived Mdhar gene. The Brassica rapa-derived Mdhar gene has a base sequence denoted by sequence number 1. |
