PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a completely new food color printing technique for achieving high quality and decorativeness unitedly on a food surface, even without using an edible seal or an edible film which is apt to bring bulky production cost.SOLUTION: A food color printing method includes forming, to a range 3 including a print object place 2 on a surface of an apple fruit 1 as an object food 1, and slightly exceeding the print object place 2, an edible foundation layer area evenly homogeneously covered in an Inagel(R)/varnish layer made by stirring/mixing water, Inagel(R) powder, and food varnish at a prescribed ratio, forming (C and D) an edible foundation layer area 4 in an Inagel(R) layer having water and Inagel(R) powder as the main ingredients, and forming (F)/drying (G) with an edible printer (unillustrated), an edible color display layer 5 made of an edible ink for the print object place 2 of a right place on the edible foundation layer area 4. |
