PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine comprising sterilization means that is capable of sterilizing the laundry, inner tank and outer tank with smaller amount of hypochlorous acid, improving a power saving performance and durability and suppressing consumption of electrolyte such as salt.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: an electrolysis device 115, disposed in the midst of a route of water supply means 107, for generating electrolytic water by electrolyzing an electrolytic solution containing chlorine; electrolytic water supply means 118 for supplying an inner tank 105 or an outer tank 104 with the electrolytic water generated by the electrolysis device 115; and control means 119 for controlling drive means 106 and the electrolysis device 115 so as to perform a washing step, a rinsing step and a dewatering step. Further, the rinsing step includes: a low-speed dewatering step for dewatering by rotating the inner tank 105 at a rotation speed lower than that of the inner tank 105 in a dewatering step; and, after the low-speed dewatering step, a sterilization step in which the electrolytic water supply means 118 supplies the inner tank 105 or outer tank 104 with electrolytic water. |
