PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television apparatus that prevents EMI from becoming worse as a camera is connected.SOLUTION: There is provided a television apparatus 10 to which a camera 20 sending a video signal is connected by a connection cable 15. A data input/output part 180 transmits and receives data using a differential signal. A reference signal transmission part 270 of the camera 20 transmits a reference signal using the differential signal. An adder 120 finds a common mode voltage from the sum of two signals obtained from the reference signal. An A/D conversion part 130 performs A/D conversion of the common mode voltage. When the common mode voltage is not between predetermined reference voltages V1 and V2, a control part 100 stops receiving the video signal from the camera 20, and instructs a user to move the connection cable 15 or camera 20. |
