PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner having excellent low-temperature fixability and enabling stable image density, regardless of use environment.SOLUTION: A magnetic toner includes: magnetic toner particles including a binder resin, a release agent and a magnetic substance; and inorganic fine particles present on magnetic toner particle surfaces. In the magnetic toner: a coverage factor of the magnetic toner particle surfaces by the inorganic fine particles is within a specific range; the inorganic fine particles include specific metal oxide fine particles; 85 mass% or more of the metal oxide fine particles are silica fine particles; a variation coefficient of the coverage factor A is within a specific range; and the binder resin is a styrene resin. In GPC measurement of THF soluble part of the magnetic toner, a peak molecular amount (Mp) at a main peak is within a specific range. The toner includes a specific fatty acid ester compound as the release agent. |
