PURPOSE: A film type patterned retarder (FRP) type 3D image display is provided to improve the image quality degradation of a vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: An image panel includes a polarizing plate. A backlight unit is attached to a rear side of the image panel. A polarized pattern film is attached to a front side of the image panel, composes a polarized pattern with a checkerboard shape and pixel units, and crosses polarized directions of adjacent pixels.
