PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent discovery processing from being concentrated on an expander.SOLUTION: A storage device 1 includes a CM 100 and CMs 200a-200c in charge of a map. The CM 100 in charge of the map has an acquisition part 122, an updating part 123 and a notice part 124. The acquisition part 122 acquires new map information from respective expanders or the respective expanders and respective enclosures when a configuration of the storage device 1 is changed. Then, the updating part 123 updates the map information stored by a map information table storage part 111 on the basis of the new map information. Also, the notice part 124 notifies the other CMs of the acquired new map information. The CMs 200a-200c have an updating part 221. The updating part 211 updates the map information stored by a map information table storage part 211 on the basis of the new map information notified by the CM 100 in charge of the map. |
