PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of correcting, during imaging for registering a person to be authenticated, a direction of a face image of the registered person in consideration of browsability irrespective of the attitude of the imaging device during the imaging.SOLUTION: In registering a face image of a person to be registered as authentication information, when the top of the head in the face image is in the vertical direction of the face image, a camera 100 registers the face image so that the top of the head is directed in the upper direction of the face image; when the top of the head in the face image is in the horizontal direction of the face image, the camera 100 registers the face image so that the top of the head is directed in the upper direction of the face image or in a direction corresponding to a direction where the top of the head is. |
