PURPOSE: A smart TV remote control is provided to receive real time smart TV images using UWB or WiFi wireless communications technology and to select various menus of the smart TV by touching a UI screen shown on a LCD, thereby transmitting a desired command to the smart TV. CONSTITUTION: A smart TV remote control (100) includes a TV adaptor (10) and a wireless terminal (20). The TV adaptor transmits TV images and receives user input data using an Infrared Ray (IR) receiver (15). The wireless terminal receives image data from the TV adaptor and displays the image data on a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) (24) screen. The wireless terminal receives a user input in a touch screen (25), preprocesses the input, and transmits the processed input to the TV adaptor.
