PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying method for the coating of a collector electrode which holds the binding force, i.e., the peeling force, required between a collector electrode substrate and the coating, in the drying step of the coating of a collector electrode in a lithium ion battery.SOLUTION: In order to prevent occurrence of problems, defective units, or the like, in the cell module production process of a lithium ion battery, it is required to confine the binding force between a coating and a collector electrode substrate, i.e., the peeling force required for peeling the coating off from the collector electrode substrate, within a range of 15-25 N/m. In order to obtain a peeling force in this range, such a drying method as the fluorine component concentration of a binding agent near the collector electrode substrate falls within a range of 1.3-2.0 mass% after drying is suitable. In order to ensure the fluorine component concentration within this suitable range after drying, such a drying method for the coating of a collector electrode as drying at a drying speed of the solvent of the coating in the range of 0.3-0.5 mass%/sec is suitable. |
