PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic material evaluation method with which a cosmetic material as to give a beautiful and healthy skin can be developed.SOLUTION: According to the cosmetic material evaluation method, skin enhancement of an applied cosmetic material is evaluated by defining a change in thickness of a horny layer in a process of wetting and then drying as an index.
