PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new mechanism that is replaced with a ball spline mechanism for lifting a shaft to a suction head body and rotating the shaft around an axis of the suction head body in a suction head of a surface mounting machine in which the shaft is incorporated in the suction head body.SOLUTION: A shaft 20 is incorporated in a suction head body 10, and a suction nozzle 30 for sucking electronic components is mounted to the shaft 20 at its tip. An air passage 22a communicated with the suction nozzle 30 is formed inside it. In a suction head of a surface mounting machine, the shaft 20 penetrates through a hollow-like shaft housing 23, and is mounted to the shaft housing 23 liftably and non-rotatably around an axis. The shaft housing 23 is mounted to the suction head body 10 non-liftably and rotatably around the axis. |
