PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing toner for electrostatic latent image development which has excellent heat-resistant preservability and chargeability under high- temperature high-humidity environment, and also to provide the toner for electrostatic latent image development obtained by the method.SOLUTION: A method for producing toner for electrostatic latent image development includes the following steps (1) to (3), and the toner for electrostatic latent image development is obtained by the method. Step (1): resin particles (A) each containing an amorphous polyester (al) having a non-aromatic carbon-carbon unsaturated bond in a main chain and a coagulant are mixed and aggregated in an aqueous medium, and aqueous dispersion of aggregated particles is obtained. Step 2: an addition polymerizable monomer (a2) having an aromatic group is added to and polymerized with the aqueous dispersion of the aggregated particles, and the aqueous dispersion of composite aggregated particles is obtained. Step (3): toner particles are obtained by fusing the composite aggregated particles. |
