PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus configured so that each component is connected with a common bus, in which a moving image excellent for seeing an imaged object can be displayed while producing an evaluation value for shooting control.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes an image data interface outputting first image data corresponding to a pixel signal from a solid state imaging device, an image data reading unit which reads the image data from a storage unit and outputs it as second image data, an image composition unit outputting compounded data of the first image data and the second image data as third image data, an evaluation value generation unit generating an evaluation value based on the image data, a first image data selection unit inputting the selected image data to the evaluation value generation unit, an image data writing unit for storing the image data in the storage unit, a second image data selection unit inputting the selected image data to the image data writing unit, and a display unit for displaying an image corresponding to the third image read from the storage unit. |
