PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of improving image quality of image data obtained through multiple exposure imaging.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: imaging means for generating image data by imaging a subject; first image processing means for performing nonlinear image processing on the generated image data; second image processing means for performing predetermined image processing on the image data having undergone the nonlinear image processing; third image processing means for performing image processing having a reverse characteristic to the nonlinear image processing on the image data having undergone the predetermined image processing; generation means for generating multiple exposure image data by multiplying each of N pieces of image data, which have been generated through N (N≥2) times of imaging by the imaging means and have undergone the processing by the first, second, and third image processing means, by a gain of 1/N and adding the N pieces of image data to each other; and fourth image processing means for performing the nonlinear image processing on the multiple exposure image data. |
