PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring machine capable of maintaining a sludge function even when a posture of the boring machine is changed.SOLUTION: The H&V shield boring machine includes: a first boring machine 1A having a first front barrel part 3A provided with a cutter head 2A and a first rear barrel part 4A to which the first front barrel part 3A is connected so as to be bent in the middle; a second boring machine 1B having a second front barrel part 3B provided with a cutter head 2B and a second rear barrel part 4B to which the second front barrel part 3B is connected so as to be bent in the middle; and connection means 29 for connecting the first and second rear barrel parts so that the first and second front barrel parts can be bent in the middle in direction opposite to each other respectively. A boring machine SM is provided with a sludge pipe 9 inside each of the first and second boring machines, and each sludge pipe 9 includes a sludge main pipe 9a and a plurality of sludge branch pipes 9b, 9c branched from the sludge main pipe 9a, connected to a part near an outer periphery of chambers 17A, 17B on a back surface side of the front barrel parts 3A, 3B, and connected to the chambers 17A, 17B at positions separated by a prescribed angle in a circumferential direction. |
