PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid catalytic cracking catalyst that is suitably used for fluid catalytic cracking of heavy hydrocarbon oil containing metal contaminants of nickel, vanadium, etc., and a sulfur compound, and specifically has superior metal resistance and sulfur oxide capturing capability, high activity, superior cracking selectivity to gasoline and an intermediate fraction, crackability of residue oil (bottom oil), etc., and further can suppress a decrease in octane number (RON) of gasoline products, and to provide method of producing the fluid catalytic cracking catalyst.SOLUTION: The fluid catalytic cracking catalyst contains crystalline aluminosilicate and an inorganic oxide matrix, and further contains compound oxide including calcium and manganese. The method of producing the catalyst includes a mixing step of mixing the crystalline aluminosilicate and the compound oxide including the calcium and manganese with a solution including the inorganic oxide matrix component or its precursor substance, and a spray drying step of spraying and drying the obtained mixed solution so as to obtain spherical dry particles. |
