PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive cutting fluid spray device capable of efficiently removing chips adhering to a tool in a machine tool or a workpiece.SOLUTION: A spray device includes a nozzle 100 for spray of cutting fluid, a valve sleeve 200 for covering the periphery of the nozzle, a valve supply 300 for covering the valve sleeve and being supplied with cutting fluid, a nozzle hole 102 for piercing through the nozzle, and a valve sleeve hole 202 passing through the inside and the outside of the valve sleeve. The device has: an elastic member 290 interposed between the valve sleeve and the valve supply, which has such a level of sliding resistance that the valve sleeve does not rotate, while following the nozzle when the nozzle rotates; and seal members 191 and 192 interposed between the nozzle and the valve supply so that cutting fluid may not leak outside from a gap between the nozzle and the valve supply. When the nozzle hole and the valve sleeve hole are in communication (non-communication) with each other, the cutting fluid is supplied (not supplied) into the nozzle. |
