PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone system having an automatic setting function that correctly acts independent of a network environment.SOLUTION: The telephone system includes a server unit, telephone terminals, and an addresses allocation server. The server unit includes: a connection processor for processing a connection request from a telephone terminal; and a transmitter for transmitting setting information corresponding to identification information, which is allocated to the telephone terminal requesting the connection, to the telephone terminal requesting the connection. The address allocation server includes: group data that is associated with the address information of the server unit to be connected, on the basis of each group obtained by grouping a plurality of telephone terminals; and a transmitter for returning the group data to a telephone terminal which is the transmission source of an allocation request. Each telephone terminal includes: from the returned group data, an extraction unit for extracting a group corresponding to the own telephone terminal and the address information of the server unit to be connected; a storage unit for storing the extracted information; and a request unit for requesting the server unit of connection to acquire the setting information. |
