PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner is provided to support a brush for cleaning to a first removable dust collecting unit without lowering the visibility inside an inner main body of a case. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises a case of a main body and a dust collecting unit. The case accommodates an electric blower. The dust collecting unit can remove from the case and collects the dust inhaled by driving the electric blower. The dust collecting unit includes a main body (131) of the dust collecting unit, a cover (132), a cleaning member (149), and a support unit (144) for the cleaning member. The main body of the dust collecting unit accommodates the dust in the inside and includes an opening hole (137) for discarding the dust. The cover shields the opening hole by rotating around a pivot unit (146). The support unit is installed in the cover and supports the cleaning member to be separated. The support unit is installed to allow the direction for separating the cleaning member to the direction of the pivot unit.
