PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage amplitude detection circuit capable of being constructed without necessity of a large capacity or resistor even when the frequency of a clock to be detected is low.SOLUTION: A voltage amplitude detection circuit includes a comparison section that compares a voltage amplitude of an input signal to a predetermined voltage and outputs a comparison result; a comparison result holding section that holds the comparison result output by the comparison section at a predetermined cycle of a drive clock and outputs the held comparison result; and a comparison result evaluation section that evaluates the comparison result output by the comparison result holding section at the predetermined cycle of the drive clock and outputs an evaluation result.
