PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heater configured such that while foreign mater, such as scraped powder sticking to the internal circumferential surface of a rotatable flexible member, is removed, a lubricant for smoothing the rotation of the rotatable flexible member does not have to be removed but can be left.SOLUTION: A cleaning member by which foreign matter sticking to the internal circumferential surface of the flexible member as a result of sliding operation is cleaned off is provided downstream of a nip part and in a place within a sliding surface or out of the surface adjacent to the sliding surface. |
