PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of reading a printed pattern and printing an image even when a printing specification causing deterioration in watermark information such as reduced printing is made.SOLUTION: An image processing device for acquiring image data from the image formed in an input medium, performing image processing for the image data, and outputting the data as an output image comprises: additional information identification means for identifying the additional information added to the image data; intensive processing determination means for determining the intensive processing results of the image data according to the contents of additional information identified by the additional information identification means; additional information generation means for collecting a plurality of additional information to generate new additional information; and image control means for assigning the image data on the basis of the intensive processing results determined by the intensive processing determination means and synthesizing the assigned image data with the new additional information generated by the additional information generation means. |
