PURPOSE: A sensor device is provided to easily perform work for inserting a combination ring into a connection hole of a housing. CONSTITUTION: An element installing unit (11) forms an installation space. A substrate installing unit (16) is connected with the installation space of the element installing unit through a connection hole and forms a substrate installation space for a circuit substrate. A housing (10) forms a connector unit combined with the other connector for electric connection between the circuit substrate and the outside. An element cover (26) is placed in the installation space and combines the connection hole with a combination ring to form a cover combination groove on an outer surface of the combination ring. A sensor device includes a sensing element (44) providing a signal for sensing a distance to surrounding objects.
