PURPOSE: An apparatus for monitoring a roll gap in a strand of a continuous casting machine is provided to smoothly implement a continuous casting process and to maintain quality by monitoring the inside of the strand. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring a roll gap in a strand of a continuous casting machine comprises a fixed frame, a roll alignment measuring part, and a roll gap measuring part. The fixed frame is coupled to one end of a dummy bar and is inserted inside a mold. The roll alignment measuring part is mounted on the fixed frame to measure the alignment of upper and lower rolls of a segment forging roll. The roll gap measuring part is mounted on the fixed frame to measure the gap between the upper and lower rolls.
