PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertisement providing system and method for providing mobile display advertisements.SOLUTION: An advertisement providing method includes: receiving advertisements; displaying the advertisements by a touch display; recognizing a touch gesture which is generated by the touch display; and displaying additional advertisement information on the advertisements by the touch display in accordance with the recognized touch gesture. The advertisement providing system includes: an advertisement maintenance part for maintaining the advertisements including a function for controlling a user terminal; and an advertisement providing part for providing the advertisements to the user terminal or a publisher to which the user terminal is connected. The function includes a function for controlling the user terminal to, when the advertisements are displayed by the touch display of the user terminal, recognize the touch gesture which is generated by the touch display, and to display the additional advertisement information on the advertisements.
