PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure capable of achieving an excellent seal performance by preventing misalignment or tilting of a seal when the seal structure is press-fitted into a space, and to provide a bearing unit including the seal structure.SOLUTION: The seal structure includes an annular slinger 10 fixed to one race ring 4, and a seal body 12 including an annular core fixed to the other race ring 6 while being opposed to the slinger. The seal body includes a first step part P1 and a second step part P2 each having a predetermined height difference, and by fitting the slinger to the second step part P2, the slinger and the seal body can be combined and maintained integrally to each other. A chamfer base point 10p of a slinger fixed part 10a of the slinger and a chamfer base point 12p of a seal fixed part 12a of the core of the seal body are set in such a manner that the chamfer base point 10p comes in contact with the one race ring 4 and the chamfer base point 12p comes in contact with the other race ring 6 when mounting the slinger and the seal body between the race rings 4, 6 while fitting the slinger to the second step part P2 of the seal body. |
