PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive capable of properly suppressing an influence by variation of environmental temperature to properly control optical power.SOLUTION: An optical disk drive 1 includes: a light source 122; a power detection part 129 which detects optical power of light to be emitted from the light source 122; a temperature detection part 30 which detects ambient temperature of the power detection part 129; a storage part 20a in which information concerning temperature drift characteristics of the power detection part 129 is stored; and a control part 20 which controls the optical power while performing temperature correction concerning the power detection part 129 by utilizing the information to be stored in the storage part 20a and the information to be stored in the storage part 20a is updated. |
