PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle travel control method which enables a plurality of vehicles to travel safely so as not to collide with each other by a new method not seen in a conventional technology by storing the position information of the vehicles and intensively controlling them.SOLUTION: The vehicle travel control method includes: a vehicle recognition step of predetermining and storing the position information within a layout for each vehicle; an area information acquisition step of determining each of a self area, a stop area and a deceleration area on the basis of the advancing direction and position information of the vehicle; and a speed adjustment step of decelerating/stopping the vehicle on the basis of the position information and area information of the traveling vehicle. |
