PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition comprising a polycarbonate resin and a polyester resin and satisfying both excellent flame retardance and impact resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a polycarbonate resin, a polyester resin, a reactive functional group-containing resin and a flame retardant, which method comprises a step of melt-mixing the polycarbonate resin and the reactive functional group-containing resin to obtain a thermoplastic resin composition (A) and a step of melt-mixing the thermoplastic resin composition (A), the polyester resin and the flame retardant.
