PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally adhesive conjugated fiber that is yet a thermally adhesive conjugated fiber (substantially coaxial) but has a high crimp percentage even when a pre-heating temperature of tow is increased, and has a very small variation in crimp number and a good high-speed carding property, and has significantly reduced defects of nonwoven fabric.SOLUTION: There is provided a conjugate fiber having a fineness (D), a ratio (CD/CN) of a number of crimps (CN) and a crimp percentage (CD), a difference (R) between the maximum number of crimps and the minimum number of crimps, and a sliver drawing resistance (DF) within the following ranges: (1) 0.5 dtex≤D≤5 dtex; (2) CD/CN≥0.9; (3)R≤5 peaks/25 mm; and(4) DF≥70 cN/g. |
