PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery having an insulating member which can prevent the influence of heat during laser welding, when the insulating member composed of resin is placed near the laser welding part of a battery case.SOLUTION: In a sealed battery 10 formed by integrating a battery case 2 including a lid 2b and a case body 2a and an electrode terminal 3 via an outer insulating member 7 composed of resin, and then welding the lid 2b and the case body 2a, the outer insulating member 7 includes an insertion hole 7d into which the electrode terminal 3 is inserted, a base material 15 formed around the insertion hole 7d, and a part excluding the base material 15. The part excluding the base material 15 is formed of a non-aromatic compound, and the base material 15 is formed of a resin material having higher deformation resistance characteristics when compared with the non-aromatic compound. |
