PURPOSE: A method for measuring the hydrogen content of hydrogen-compressed natural gas fuel is provided to increase fuel efficiency and to prevent the malfunction of an engine. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring the hydrogen content of hydrogen-compressed natural gas fuel is as follows: a step of injecting the hydrogen-compressed natural gas fuel to a first engine (S10); a step of maintaining the ignition time, the idle RPM , and the air fuel ratio of the first engine at a predetermined value when the first engine is in an idle state (S20); a step of measuring one or more of the operation time of an injector, the pressure of draw-in air, and the temperature of exhaust gas and storing the measured data according to the content of the hydrogen (S30); a step of making a reference value table (S50); a step of storing the reference value table to an electronic control unit (ECU) of a vehicle with a second engine having same specification as the first engine (S60); a step of measuring one or more of the operation time of an injector, the pressure of draw-in air, and the temperature of exhaust gas (S70); and a step of calculating the hydrogen content of the hydrogen-compressed natural gas fuel injected in the second engine by comparing the measured date and the reference value table stored in the ECU (S80).
