PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement apparatus and a measurement method for reducing attenuation due to an optical fiber length and SN deterioration due to a background in a dose monitor utilizing optical fibers.SOLUTION: A dose rate measurement system includes: a radiation detection part for detecting a radiation dose; a light source for applying stimulus light to the radiation detection part; a photodetector for detecting light generated in the radiation detection part; optical fibers for connecting the radiation detection part, the light source and the photodetector to transmit light from the light source and light from the radiation detection part; a measurement device for counting pulses outputted from the photodetector; and an analyzer for extracting light quantity derived from the radiation detection part from time information, wave height information and the counting value being measurement results obtained by the measurement device, and converting the light quantity into a dose and a dose rate. |
