PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for downsizing a master controller so as to arrange the master controller in and around the motorman's cab of a train which has only limited space.SOLUTION: A master controller includes: a main handle 2 which rotates around a rotating shaft 4; and an optical rotary encoder 1 which outputs a notch command corresponding to a turning angle position of the main handle. Thus, a control board which converts a conventional code signal (angle information) into the notch command becomes unnecessary. The master controller can be downsized, weight is reduced, and a failure rate can be lowered by reduction of components. |
