PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tungsten alloy component which does not include a thorium component that is a radioactive material.SOLUTION: The tungsten component includes Ta of 0.1 to 3 wt.% expressed in terms of TaB. Further, the tungsten alloy component preferably includes at least two or more selected from Ta, TaBand B. Further, when the total content of Ta, TaBand B is expressed in terms of TaBx, x<2 is preferably satisfied. Further, the tungsten alloy component is preferably used for at least one selected from a component for a discharge lamp, a component for a transmitting tube and a component for a magnetron.
