PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which can effectively prevent a skin on a wearer's back from getting wet with urine.SOLUTION: This disposable diaper includes an auxiliary absorbent part 10 provided on a liquid-permeable top sheet 22 and solid gather portions 30 each provided on both sides extending in a front-back direction. The auxiliary absorbent part 10, which stretches in the front-back direction between side lines near the roots of the solid gather portions 30, comprises a fixed base line 11 laterally located at the middle, and main parts 12 and 13 longitudinally extending from the fixed base line 11. Of the main parts 12 and 13, a proximal end part on the side of the fixed base line 11 constitutes a liquid-permeable portion 12, and a distal end part constitutes an absorbent portion 13. Of the main parts 12 and 13 of the auxiliary absorbent part 10, the liquid-permeable portion 12 can be folded forward and the absorbent portion 13 of the distal end part can be folded backward and the absorbent portion 13 is constituted to be able to absorb urine from at least the surface of the top sheet 22. |
