PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for facilitating determination on whether a person is affected with dyslipidemia or not even at home by using components in spittle.SOLUTION: A dyslipidemia determination marker is the marker being one or more kinds of components to be selected from groups constituted by (i) and (ii), and a method for determining dyslipidemia is the method for measuring the amount of the marker and determining whether a subject is affected with dyslipidemia or not on the basis of the amount, where (i) includes cytidine, serotonin, phosphono acetic acid, nicotine, choline phosphoric acid, and epinephrine, and (ii) includes indole pyruvic acid, 1,3-diamino propane, cinnamic aldehyde, phenyl propane acid, linoleic acid, trance cinnamic acid, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, N2,N2-dimethyl guanosine, N-acetyl asparagine, ribothymidine, 3-phospho serine, 5-methyl cytidine, cellotetraose, D-ribose 5-phosphoric acid, gentisic acid aldehyde, xanthine, pyrophosphoric acid, and &bgr;-alanine. |
