PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform effective masking.SOLUTION: A sound reproduction device 1 includes: storage means 11 for storing a masking sound M and plural pieces of BGM α to mask an operation sound generated by an image forming apparatus 2; masking sound reproduction means 14 for reproducing the masking sound M stored in the storage means 11; operation determination means 13 for determining an operation mode of the image forming apparatus 2; BGM reproduction means 15 for selecting and reproducing one of the plural pieces of BGM stored in the storage means 11 on the basis of the operation mode of the image forming apparatus 2 determined by the operation determination means 13; and masking sound output means 16 and BGM output means 17 for respectively outputting the masking sound M and the BGM α respectively reproduced by the masking sound reproduction means 14 and the BGM reproduction means 15. |
