PURPOSE: An apparatus for recording the driving record of a vehicle and a method for the same are provided to calculate the reduced amount of carbon dioxide to secure certified emission reductions. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for recording the driving record of a vehicle includes a vehicle state detecting part, a starting part(90), and a controlling part(10). The vehicle state detecting part detects the state information of a vehicle. The state information of the vehicle includes the operational information of a fuel supplying unit, the speed of the vehicle, the position of a transmission, and the pressing information of a pedal. The starting part starts the vehicle. The controlling part calculates the emitted amount of carbon dioxide. The controlling part verifies whether the no-load operation of an engine is verified based on the state information of the vehicle. |
