PURPOSE: A neutron pulse wave spectrum analyzing method and a neutron measuring system using the same are provided to improve the reliability of neutron analyzing by detecting the variation of the shape of pulse wave spectrum analyzing data according to the content variation of neutron attenuating material in a target sample through combining and using signal processing methods using the automatic threshold controlling circuit of a multichannel analyzer. CONSTITUTION: A neutron measuring system(100) comprises a neutron source, a neutron detector(10), a preamplifier(20), a main amplifier(30), a multichannel analyzer(40), and a detector power supply device(60). The neutron detector uses 3He proportional counter and the preamplifier uses a charge sensitive preamplifier outputting the size of a signal proportional to the amount of charges. The main amplifier combines a RC(Resistor Capacitor) circuit with a CR(Capacitor Resistor) circuit for pulse shaping and uses a double differential circuit formed with CR-RC-CR for shaping into a bipolar wave form. Gain controlling sets an amplifying rate to be from scores to hundreds of times according to the size of a signal inputted from the preamplifier. The multichannel analyzer classifies, collects, memorizes, and outputs a pulse signal outputted from a linear amplifier by the height of a pulse.
