PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door gap measurement method and door gap measurement device capable of directly, highly accurately and simply measuring a gap that is covered and is not visually recognized from an outside.SOLUTION: A door gap measurement method includes: a procedure for arranging a gauge head 41 on the tip bending side of an L shape measurement jig 35 at a gap between an outer peripheral end surface 23 of a door 13 and a door facing surface 25 of a frame 17 in a closed door state; a procedure for setting a reference position by allowing a base part 39 of the L shape measurement jig 35 to be in parallel with a door surface 29 and allowing the gauge head 41 to be abutted to the outer peripheral end surface 23 of the door 13 in the gap 15; a procedure for setting the movement position of the L shape measurement jig 35 by moving the base part 39 and the door surface 29 in parallel and allowing the gauge head 41 to be abutted to the door facing surface 25 of the frame 17 in the gap 15; and a procedure for obtaining the gap 15 from the outer peripheral end surface 23 to the door facing surface 25, that cannot be visually recognized from an outside, by obtaining a distance from the reference position to the movement position. |
