PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the heat radiation efficiency in a housing for an on-vehicle electronic control device controlling an engine and a transmission.SOLUTION: A surface of a lid 4a of a housing 4 for an electronic control device 1, formed by aluminum or aluminum alloy etc., has a heat radiation facilitating region where multiple fins are formed. The surface 4d of the heat facilitating region is covered by an aluminum oxide layer 4e. The center line average roughness in the heat radiation facilitating region is set so as to be equal to or larger than a film thickness of the aluminum oxide layer. |
