摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of determining an engagement state of a shift-by-wire type parking lock device with high accuracy without using a generated torque detection means of an actuator.SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 includes the parking lock device 8 having a parking actuator 81 for switching to a locking state in which the rotation of driving wheels 6a, 6b is stopped by gear meshing when a shift range is in a parking range, and an encoder 82 for detecting the rotational position of the parking actuator 81. When the shift range is in the parking range, the rotational drive of the parking actuator 81 and its driving force are released. The gear meshing state of the parking lock device 8 is determined based on a return amount of the parking actuator 81 in a direction opposite to a driving direction thereof as the driving force is released.
