PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner showing an excellent handling in operation when a user uses and stores a hand brush disposed at the end part on the extension tube side of a hose, preventing a hand of the user from touching the hand brush and some dusts from adhering to the hand of the user.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes: a vacuum cleaner body storing an electric fan for generating suction air, a hose connected to the vacuum cleaner body at one end, a hand brush provided at the other end of the hose, a driving means provided at the other end of the hose and driving the hand brush, a connecting means for connecting the hand brush to the driving means, and a control means for controlling the driving means, wherein the control means drives the driving means when the hand brush and the driving means are connected to each other by the connecting means so as to operate the hand brush. |
