PURPOSE: A power supply device is provided to reduce stand-by power by stopping or staring a primary switching motion according to a voltage level of a capacitor which charges a driving power source. CONSTITUTION: A power supply unit (110) switches an input power source. The power supply unit supplies a pre-set driving power source. A power source operation control unit (120) comprises a capacitor. The capacitor charges the driving power source. The power source operation control unit stops a switching motion of the power source operation control unit if a voltage level of the capacitor is over a pre-set voltage level.
