CONNECTING METHOD OF EFL(ELECTRICAL FLYING LEADER) TO X-MAS TREE IN SUBSEA

PURPOSE: An electrical flying leader (EFL) connection method for an underwater Christmas tree is provided to significantly shorten a construction period for an underwater Christmas tree which requires a long period of time due to the collection and re-installation of a protective cover and a canopy. CONSTITUTION: An EFL connection method for an underwater Christmas tree comprises the following step: installing a plurality of guide posts (100) in a Christmas tree (1); connecting one or more buoyant canopy buoys (200) to a canopy (10) to temporarily lift the canopy guided by the guide post; connecting one or more buoyant cover buoys (300) to a protective cover (20) to temporarily lift the protective cover; and connecting the connection end of an EFL to the connection part of the Christmas tree.
