PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustor and a method for reducing a temperature gradient of a combustor component.SOLUTION: The combustor 100 includes a coating 140 applied to at least a portion thereof with the coating 140 serving to alter the emissivity of the at least a portion of the combustor 100 to which it is applied. The method includes applying a coating on at least one of a combustor liner 112 and a flow sleeve 114, wherein the coating 140 alters the emissivity exhibited where applied. |
