PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire tread, capable of producing a tire with excellent dispersibility of white filler and excellent rolling resistance, and a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tire tread contains diene rubber, a white filler, a silane coupling agent and a (meth)acrylate polymer having a reactive silyl group at the terminal. In the composition, 20 mass% or more of the diene rubber is styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber, the content of the white filler is 5-150 pts.mass relative to 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber, the content of the silane coupling agent is 0.5-20 mass% relative to the mass of the white filler, and the content of the (meth)acrylate polymer is 1-30 mass% relative to the mass of the white filler. |
